Bite Me, A High School Vampire Story
Book 1 A New Vampire
~4,000 words.
Joshua is your normal, run-of-the-mill high school outcast. Dressed in his favorite cargo pants and skull-themed t-shirts, his favorite phrase to every unlucky passerby is "Bite Me". Never would he have ever imagined that someone would actually do it! And now he is a cold, blood-sucking vampire. Or at least that's what he thought he would be.
High school life was never his favorite, and now he must contend with hiding his new identity as a vampire as well. Not only that, but he has a distaste for killing. That's not even including the daily, heart throbbing interactions with the girl of his dreams and having to keep his secrets from her!
One event turns into another, and he finds himself the prime target of terrifying monsters, restless ghosts, flesh-eating zombies, and more... With seemingly endless waves of creatures hunting him, Joshua must find out why he has become the target of every supernatural being and battle his way to its source, all while struggling to find his inner power.

This was a pretty good short story. The plot was good and flowed easily. A High School outcast is turned into a vampire (Doesn't say how or when. Good idea for a prequel to see how that came about). He does not drink human blood. (does not say what he drinks instead. Another idea for the prequel.) All the girls are suddenly into him (would have liked to read about that.) All of a sudden, him and his girlfriend (when did that happen? Was she into him before he became a vamp?) are attacked by a shadow monster(don't really know what that is and why it's attacking them.) Just before the monster finishes him off, he is saved by 4 balls of fire(?).Seems like this is episode 2 of a serial. The writing was good and if I was a little younger I would want to read more. However, I could not find anything else by this author anyway.

Nothing to brag about, very short story, not worth it
